Since 1999, Southwest Regional Communications Center (SWRCC) has been operating continuously, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing 911 emergency services in your community.

SWRCC also provides fire and security alarm system monitoring. This city service is offered as a fee-based service, available to every household and business in Cedar Hill, DeSoto, and Duncanville.

Imagine how much time could be saved if your alarm was attached directly to your 911, police, fire, and EMS dispatch center.

How it Works
In the traditional alarm monitoring model, when your alarm is triggered, the alarm panel in your home uses the public telephone system to call a commercial monitoring center, which must then call the local 911 center serving your area. With SWRCC Alarm Monitoring, your alarm panel reports directly to SWRCC.

To Sign Up for Alarm Monitoring
After obtaining an alarm permit, please contact SWRCC, and we will schedule a licensed service provider to re-program your alarm panel. The alarm service provider will contact SWRCC with the appropriate information necessary to activate your account.

Typical re-reprogramming fees are $135, which is paid directly to the alarm service provider. Upon activation of the account, SWRCC provides a $75 credit towards future monthly monitoring fees to offset this initial expense.

Installation of cellular system monitoring is based on the customers current alarm system and will incur additional costs. Our licensed service providers will be happy to provide you with a quote for this additional equipment.

We also offer "wireless" alarm monitoring for $35 a month for residents who have an existing wireless system or those who are considering upgrading their
traditional system.

Invoices are mailed at the beginning of each month however; we also offer quarterly or annual billing cycles.  For your convenience we also have multiple payment options
 such as; online, over the phone, credit card or direct bank drafting. To choose a preferred billing cycle or to set up specific payment options please contact our Billing Department at 972-230-9628 after your account is activated.
